Best Defensive Team?

Weird only a few people mentioned the 9ers. They're also pretty good.

They are really good on defense, because of what Willis and Lawson give you at LB speed wise.

Man this poll is nuts... When you say top defense everyone in madden people only think about speed... IMO best defense in madden is between the Packers and the Cowboys...

3-4 and Nickel are best formations in madden 10... these two teams run them the best and they can run all other formations just as good...

Raji- is a monster with crazy block shedding
Jolly- 95+ blk shedding
Cullen Jenkins- A beast ass end..

LBs- One of maddens best cores

Kampman- basically demarcus ware but slower put him as RE and hes a 99\
CMIII- Pro Bowler
Nick Barnett- 90+ tlk, 90+ hit power
Aj Hawk- Good zone and 84 spd
Desmond Bishop- 90+ hit decent tackle
Jones- 82 spd, good pursuit

CBs- Speed is not everything (just use DEF assignments and your good) every madden player should use this feature it will get you a lot more sacks IMO...

Woodson- Best Overall CB in NFL (Revis better in coverage but Charles is better all around- rush def, flexibility such as SS or FS).
Harris- Only 85 spd, but 99 press, 90+ AWR,90+ man... Just use him vs good wr with low beat the press and its a rap.. he will shut down desean jackson.. but stuggle vs maclin.. speed is not s*** if you cant get off line...
Williams-90 spd decent coverage
Will Blackmon-92 spd..good for those people who do deep bombs.. other than that hes not in game for me..
Underwood- 85 press, good at SS for pass coverage.. 6'1 good for RC def..
Giordano- 91 spd
Martin-88 spd
Collins- Best FS in NFL, and should be fastest (beat percy 40 time).. 89 spd, 81 hit, good hands.. hes a beast
Bigby- good rush def, decent in zone, 92 hit power

Alright for those who are all about speed then Cowboys are your team

Olshansky- Animal good Strength and blk shedding
Spencer- just got updated hes an 84 at LB as DE he should be higher

LBs- Very good

Ware- Best turbo blitzer, very fast
Brookings- good Awr, good tackler
James-Brick wall Tackler, had over 100+ last year
Williams-87 spd
Carpenter- so,so

CBs
Jenkins- 90+ spd, good press/coverage
Newman- 90+ spd etc...
Scandrick- 90+ spd
Hamlin- Hard hitter 84 spd
Watkins- 6'5 best RC defender in madden besides adrian wilson, hes slow but hes so tall he will jump routes that will make you s***..
Ball- decent

Cowboys are just like Packers but are faster.. Just depends on what type of Def you like... I prefer a smart one over a fast one... When they are smart zone coverage is so good you will cry.. Flat coverage actually works..

I agree Packers, and Cowboys are great but I would not discount Raiders/Ravens I would say those 4 are elite and it is style which makes one better then the other.

Green bay has the most balance
Dallas and Oakland have the most speed but dallas can tackle
Ravens had good hit power and the best front 7 of them all.
