Is there a way to save a play so I don't have to make the adjustments every time? I'm new at this game and have been trying to 4-4 DEF on here, but never have enough time to make every adjustment.

No, you can't save adjustments. The more you do the adjustments, the easier and quicker you will learn to do them.
