what yall think about the texans chances this year and winning there devision they got the best offense in there davision so why wouldnt they. & there defense should be a whole lot better this year just keep schaub healthy & we could be looking at a play off team they did finish 5-1 at the end of last season if defense could make big plays when they need to we could be looking at a play off team. alright what yall think & lets be realistic what are there chances this season

idk bout best offense in the division but they have a really good offense.. i would still put the colts offense ahead of em.. but maybe thats just me.. and titans o is sneakin up on ya too.. but i see them doin pretty good.. they made sum additions on d which should help out more (cato, antonio smith and cushing).. but they do have a good o and schaub does have a lot of weapons around him in owen daniels, steve slaton, andre and kev walter

yeah but we do have the best O in the davision we were ranked 3rd in total offense and we turned the ball over more than any other team in the leugue and still in the top 3 take half them turnovers away and we'd probly be #1 the colts didnt give that many turnovers and wernt even in the top 5 they were like 8 9 or 10 lol the best offense in afc south the texans hand's down

Being a Texas boy myself, I am excited about the direction of this team.
They had there best year yet, and if Owen Daniels had stayed healthy they would have made the playoffs. Schaub is a good QB, Dre is a great WR, OD has potential, lots of weapons.

The management and coaching staff have made very good personell decisions and the defense continues to get better.

If the backs can hold onto the football and OD comes back healthy, I believe they will be in the playoffs next year. Get Slaton in the weight room to work on his hands and forarms and rehab OD and the Texans will be a force.

What do you guys think?

Half the team being on IR was our problem this whole season.

I am sure it will be better, barring injury of course. They are headed in the right direction and the majority of their key players are young and learning.

texans have really a top 3 offense talent wise and can move the ball on any Defense.

the way moss looked yesturday i think really shows who the best wr is in the league.

fitz might be the only competition.

Potential for sure. I mean on defense you got Cushing, Williams... offense you got Dre, Daniels, Schaub, Slaton and even Jones.

Dre is probably the top WR in the league. Moss age has showed, although he had some great games this season, he's getting to Marvin Harrison's spot of slowing down, Dre will be there too someday. Calvin Johnson really could be the best WR in the league if he had a Schaub, Brees, Manning or Romo.

Another top WR season for Dre and we may start talking about Dre someday being up there with the Irvin's, Rice's and Carter's.

IDK, next year might be a different story with the loss of Shanahan at OC

kubiak call's some great plays and creates alot of plays for Dre most of the big plays down the feild to Dre kubiak designed and maybe he can get the play action back in the offense if slaton get's his hands right.

im gonna miss shanahan though he was a genius at play calling i doubt he'll have the same type of success with the skins they don't have enough talent on that O.

the games aren't in order but those are the teams the texans will face in the 2010 season.

We'll find out about the Texans character when they come up againjst the powerhouse NFC East division.

hey guys ima eagles fan but i like to follow the texans in the AFC in hopes PHI and HOU will me in the superbowl one day. lol i was just wondering where do you think the texans should look to improve when the draft comes around???

^^^^ a fast wr lol. i believe the last wr they got from the draft was jerome mathis now that dude was a striaight BEAST!!!! he went to the pro bowl his rookie year and i think he was another version of Desean jackson he could also run back KR's and PR's.

in my opinion i think they should get a nice good interior defensive lineman, another linebacker to maybe complement cushing and ryans, or perhaps a corner to complement dunta robinson, or even get some speed at the saftey position. i dont think there offense needs too too many adjustments i mean they were great this year! also i think they need to get slaton back to form if they do that there offense will be that much more dangerous! lol
