| I've been keeping an eye on this thread and I keep hearing everyone say the playbook is great, but will anyone share how they set up some of these plays in this book? I've been using westcoast almost exclusively, and I love the singleback tight doubles formation, and I posted a whole little scheme on using motion of te to make a weak I titgh twins, and motioning the single wr to make a bunch te look from under center. But I play in leagues and alot of the good players know my stuff and I wanna come out with somthing new for them in the playoffs. So far from the 2 games I've played with this book I've come up with a few things I like. Gun Bunch TE PA Boot OVer Everyones talkin about this play, the only thing I've done differently that I like is cancelling the PA motioning the HB out to the open side and hot route him to a fade. When people play zone vs this play it helps create more space by stretching the zone and without having to fake the handoff you can throw one of the crossing routes faster if someone brings heat. Gun Sungs Flip WR Corners Motion either flag route to the other side, and then hot route both flags to curls and smart route them When you read the pas the first read is a quick pass to the slant hook out, if the curls pick his defender make the throw. If the D is in a zone and plays the slant out the 2 hooks side by side seem to work off each other and the outside wr hooks to the outside while the inside wr curls to the inside, you can hit that inside curl with a bullet pass right as he shows you his numbers for a nice gain Gun Split Slot Backs Cross Theres lots of plays to run off this, and some runs its a great for to scheme. With backs cross hot route the slot wr to drag, and hot route both running backs (use the dual hb package) to fade routes. Finally smart route the post, and hot route the deep curl to a fly. the reads on this really depend on how many yards you need, against most Ds the hbs are open for a quick pass right as they start to go upfield, and that post route is open vs most d's. The key is the smart route so he will run route infront of saftey and can make catch without much threat of an int These plays are part my own ideas and part ideas borrowed from these forums so im not looking to take credit for ideas or steal anyone elses just trying to get this thread sharing the same way the west coast shares play ideas. Also can anyone tell me where i can find some infor on how do you make an E book? thanks | |

| Look, I'm not saying you didnt lab plays and make another offense, BUT there is one post that IS 100% plagerized from our e-book that we created on maddenbible.com
Really, you say you dont take credit for the plays, its blatant that you stole it. Why are you the only madden site we are continually having problems with? We met a bunch of community people at Orlando MLG, no wonder they weren't talking about you.
Stop stealing maddenbible e-books and reposting, NOT COOL. show some respect for the community, maybe thats why we are doing big things because we have respect.
We will be in touch. | |

| Its not the uys that run the site its just common practice not to post someone else work. Let's just try and practice little more respect fellas.
The guys at MS work hard and we understand that and we value that they under no circumstance agree with plagerism. We appreciate everyone here for understanding our stance!

| Gun Bunch TE. Stick Hot route RB on Drag Motion RB to left Hot route middle WR on outside slant
Read is easy, hit RB (Y) unless cover drops then hit outside slant WR (LB or A)
I know a lot of you guys like to do clear outs, but this way you have a few blockers in front of you. I seemed to get a few extra yards with it this way but you do have to make the read. Try it you'll see what I mean. Every now and again you can make a house call this way.
Disclaimer - I saw a play kinda like this, on this thread, but it wasn't this play and it had one hot route exactly like mine but it did not have the other hot route and it really wasn't this play but all credit goes to those before me who did something somewhere that I somehow learned and used and then switched it up. After all how could a dummy like me learn how to hot route from the included manual. So all credit goes to whoever the previous poster was, you can look it up your damm self. Thanks
But seriously, try the play, I hardly ever post plays on here but this wrinkle "I" put in this one is fukkin sweet

| Ok I went through this post again and I think Im the only one who posted plays and said I dont take full credit for what I posted. But make no mistake the plays I posted were not taken from Maddenbible ... in fact who the **** are you and Ive never heard of your site ...the 3 plays I posted in this thread, the Gun Bunch TE PA Boot Over is just common sense, The 2nd play Gun Snugs Flip WR Corners is a play I based off a westcoast concept I read on this forum of having 3 tight players ... 2 run curls and the 3rd runs a slant out behind him so hes shielded from defenders. The third play Gun Split Slot Backs Cross was a combinations of idead I read on this site and VG plus my own ideas. The hot routing the backs to fades idea came from michura from VG and his conecpt for the Gun Split Slot PA F Slide play, the smart routing the post and drag is my own labbing which found the drag taks any lbs out of the posts passing lane and the passing lane of the back on that side.
If your post had nothing to do with me I apologize for my rant. If it did, well then **** you ******! I give credit where credit is due, and is sure as hell isn't you

| this is how it all went down for me, ish said something about the book, i looked at it and liked it. then somebody gave me an ebook, cant remember if its from madden bible or not (pretty sure it is though, thanks !!!!! good stuff). i dont even think ive posted the plays from that book. it gave me a place to start and then i went off on my own im sure it was just a simple misunderstanding and im sure everybody from ms aplogizes. were not trying to take anybodys stuff and if we do, we will make sure we will give the credit to the person who made it but you also have to understand that with the way things are now its very hard to ALWAYS give credit to other people. i was running the same stuff out of strong twin TE long before i read that ebook so does that mean i should get the credit? no it doesnt. i understand you worked very hard on that but you def wernt the first to run that stuff | |

| Me personally I feel disrespected. I dont claim to be a great madden player but Im not a f-ing thief either. I don't have any detroit madden e-books, I read a post the det book was fire and I started playing around with it using the concepts I use already from playing with Westcoast and Arizona books. I posted 3 play ideas I had hoping people would also start posting play ideas, the same way its done on the westcoast site, then i come home tonight and see there have been a bunch of posts to this thread. Excited I check to see nothing I hoped happed and instead get to read this crap. | |

| here's a couple of plays from detriot playbook try them out tell me what you think
Single Back Empty Trey Flex Double Unders Setup
1. Hot route or (X for 360 and square PS3) WR on a slant out.
2. Snap
3. Our first read is our inside WR on the right side running the flat slant. This route will almost always get open against any man to man defense. The slant gets the inside postion and the the remaining portion of the route is topped off with a straight flat route. Throw a lead pass to the open part of the field.
Curl Flats Setup
This play is another formation audible. It is our left audible. We first want to look to see if there are defenders lined up directly in front of our WR's, if there are we will want to check down to another option as theres a good chance a bump n' run is on. (this will mess with the timing of the route) Hot route our outside WR's to perform slants out. If there is no bump n' run we will snap and throw to our WR. Scamper upfield for a big gain If we don't dump off to the flat look for the outside WR to beat the DB deep after they take there cut off the slant.
Whip Unders Setup
1. Place our (B for 360 and O for PS3) on a drag route.
2. Motion the inside (Y for 360 triangle for PS3) snap just before he reaches the TE.
3. Our first read is going to be the motioned WR. If he finds an open whole in the middle we want to take advantage.
4. Our next read is going to be both "texas" routes and also the drag. All three of these routes work off each other. Watch as the texas routes first cut in, forcing the defenders to slide in, then as they cut out they pull the defenders with them. Then we have the drag, the drag on the right is going to be open against man, against zone it will force the defender to guard either the drag or the texas route by the TE. Once the drag route passes the TE there should be open space due to the other texas route pulling the defender back towards the sideline. This route combination is deadly and when performed correctly it is almost unstoppable.
5. Our last reads are the posts. We mentioned the first read was the motioned WR, he is also one of our last reads. Look for the crossing posts to work off each other. If you see open space. LET IT FLY!
4. Our next read is the other flat slant. This route will take a bit longer to develope but it is a nice leaking route if our first option is covered.
5. Next we will look to hit our TE running the corner route. Against almost any defense this is 100% money. The angle at which he takes causes great seperation. We will throw a lead pass towards the sideline, click on, and user catch the route.
6. Our last reads are the slanted streaks on the left. Against almost any defense these routes are great to take advantage of. Look for the holes and hit your man. Click on and jet pack.
QB Draw#1 Setup
This play is a formation audible so we will always call another play when we come out in this formation. To call the QB Draw we are going to select (X for 360 and Square for PS3) and down on the right joystick.
We will then slide protect up with our offensive line
Snap, HOLD RT and go
i take no credit for these plays just thought i'll help out my detriot playbook user i just looked through it and that is pretty much exactly the same as the ebook i have. however he didnt take credit for it, its not like he was saying he made these plays, he just didnt give you full credit like i said, it was just a simple misunderstanding and everybody from MS aplogizes for it
