major advice

Is there anyone out there able to help me? I just got madden 10, and I haven't been playing any football games in a while. Im struggling a lot with defense and my offense could definitely use a boost too, although I can score online. I've tried reading through the forums, but I just don't understand a lot of nanos and things like that. I had a basic idea but I never have enough time to get it going. Anyway, if anyone can help give me ideas, playbooks, ect. I am using the cowboys currently. Thanks

ok so apparently my game needs help all around. I just got out of a game, and I threw a TON of interceptions. I didnt start doing that till yesterday, but that takes me away from throwing, and I can attack a lot of the time on the run, but I cant do it effectively enough to always keep the drive going. Any help would be appreciated...even if you are on ps3, if you could write out some hints. Im struggling bad.

Ok ill add you tonight when I get off work. I went to pm you just now on the forums, but says I cant lol.

Anyway. Im having trouble stopping the pass. I can usually stop the run without giving up too many yards, but the pass is killing me. I start running over 2s with purple zones and that helps for mid-long passes, but it seems that my slant zones arent staying where they are and the get me with short passes and get running room. I've read about nanos and I cant get them out in time. I start moving people and switching what they do, but I cant get to everyone in time.

Offense.

I throw interceptions way too often. I notice they get into zone so i try to route the receivers around that, however, they don't get open in time for me to get the pass off, and if I throw a slant then typically they get to me before too long and I get maybe 4 yards. I manage to use the screen affectively at times for some big yards, but then the find a new answer for that so I reroute people again and interception. It seems like I can never get 1v1 coverage and I have almost no deep ball due to the fact that im either hit before they get deep enough, or ill lob it and get picked, or my receiver just doesnt catch it in coverage, there are a lot of times where it is in their hands and they just drop it.

I started using the Det pb on offense for the runs, and I find that they can be affective...so i tried running more, and they people I play have caused me to fumble a lot too.

I dont know what pb I should use for def. I think the most effective ive been is with NE for the 1-5-5 and the 3-4 under to use cover 2.



anyway, im open to any ideas, and if that helps clear where my problems are...feel free to tell me how stupid I am and tell me what im doing wrong.
