| I personally think it is LaDanian Tomlinson as he is the BEST all around HB cause he is deadly any play an he can kill you in the air as well. oh and he passed the great Jim Brown."LT's last five seasons may very well be the best ever at the position. He may be the greatest combo of running, catching and even passing to ever play. He's currently second on the all time TD list"

| Jerome Harrison is a beast!! He got 30-40 carries his last few games. If he puts up 40 rushes for 286 and 3 tds every game next year he'll pass LT in no time. Sounds easy enough. | |

| LT isn't even top 5 best ever, stop being a homer.
Top 5:
1 a: Jim Brown 1b: Barry Sanders 2. Walter Payton 3. Earl Campbell 4. Bo Jackson 5. Emmitt Smith

| chris johnson has a great year and people think hes the best ever? lmao thats the dumbest thing ever. Hes very talented and all but before hes even in the discussion he needs at least a few more 1200+ yard seasons at least. chris johnson might have had the best year out of all the running backs but he aint the best. I personally beleive Steven Jackson is the best overall runningback in the nfl right now | |

| Steven Jackson > Chris Johnson lol I know this has nothing to do with who is better, but did you guys see Steven Jackson jump clear over that guy? The guy was standing damn neer straight up barely leaning over for the tackle yet and Steven Jackson cleared his entire body. He must have hurdled like 5 feet at least | |

| Barry Sanders all the way.
If Barry played for the Browns in that era guys like Gale Syers would be an afterthought
If Barry played for Emmitt's Cowboys...wow it would just be unfair lol
Put any all-time great RB on the Lion and imagine what type of production they get. I honestly think Brown would be the only ones who could match the stats he put up.
Peyton had one of the best defenses of all time to back him up Brown had Leroy Kelly (HOF RB), Mike McCormack (HOF T), and Bobby Mitchell (HOF WR/RB) Emmit had Irvin, Aikman, and probably the best offensive line in that era
What hall of famer did Barry have on his team other than himself? A lot of those top RB were on some pretty loaded teams. Barry was a solo act.
The Lions killed his will for the game he was within striking distance of Peyton's record when he called it quits.

MVP does NOT mean best player. It means MOST VALUABLE PLAYER to their respective team. Christ, why can't anyone ever get this? Without Peyton, the Colts would be a .500 team at best.

It's the player that is deemed the most valuable to the success of their team, and Peyton Manning is exactly that.

| well obviously the people who vote and decide on the MVP think manning deserves it and he does. lol the colts would not have made the playoffs without him, vince young the one who turned the team around not CJ, seems like vince is more deserving that CJ out of VY and CJ, i mean CJ ran great but they still went like 0-6 or whatever it was then vince came in and turned things partially around, VY was the key to the success of the titans at the end of the year not CJ as much, although he did put on quit a display this year. lol | |
