How many times do you run a nano...

in a game?

I think sometimes I have a tendency of doing it too much.

3rd and long

2nd 10ish

stuff like that. i dont over use them, just use them in times where it can only make it harder on the person your playing

sh!t you gota mix that sh!t up don't let them see it twice in a row..think about it!!

I run or use it only if the the dude I'm playing is useing nanos other than that I don't use but when I do 1st and 3rd down

I run them a lot, I have to find more coverage plays. Any body got any good coverage plays in the NYJ PB ?

Any kind of blitz you won't see from me more than 3 times in the same game. Usually less.

I try and run an A-gap blitz any time I see a player under center. Outside heat on long distance passing downs. Coverage plays put of NYJ playbook are Nickel Velcro, Odd Split Cover 3 with adjustments to the DE and LB, or Dollar plays.

you can run cover 3 as is and its a good coverage play. still rushing 4

My best ones can all be run all over so only in passing situations. Maybe 40-50% of passing situations unless people prove that they can beat them.

coverage defenses in the NYJ pb for me would be cover 2 sink out of 34 predator and nickel 155 with adjustments i mean you have hook zones all over the place just hot route some players to cover other tendencies of your opponent if he looks underneath put in some flats, sidelines with purples etc. the cover 2 sink has saved my ass numerous times ESPECIALLY in the red zone I run a 3 man semi nano out of the nickel 155 cover 2 sink and user one of the safeties it has saved so many games for me its crazy people just never expect the pressure to be coming i guess

running nanos the whole game down after down isnt that smart. If he knows its comin all he has to do is do a quick pass to his wr over the middle on a slant or to his rb. u want to nano on either a long 2nd down or a 3rd and 10

I played a guy who used the Broncos and moved Champ Bailey to FS, and used a nano that got to me in like 1 second. It looked like it was a dollar or quarter nano that he audibled to, but I could not get the ball off quick enough or block his blitzers. That was the only time I couldn't beat a nano, if I didnt need to get to work that day I would've studied the instant replays of his defense to get a better idea of what he was doing.

Anyway, I think nanoing every down can be effective if you're playing someone who doesn't have specific plays to beat the nano, but if you did it against me every play I'd get the timing of the blitz down and I have a few plays that really hurt a nano, especially the type that has one of the inside linebackers blitzing up the middle. Leaving the middle of the field open is dangerous.

The toughest opponents are the ones who mix up coverage and leave me guessing at what he's trying to do. Keeping it unpredictable is the key to having a good D. Good players will rip you up if you run the same nano-D over and over.

I like to run a nano whenever i just had a huge play..like for instance,i was playin this guy he was like 100-40(rounding here) and i had just gotten a pikk 6 so it was 21-3 in second quarter..first 2 downs he tries to go deep and incomplete..so 3rd and 10,i nano him,he tries to throw but the ball goes straight in the air and Trent Cole pikks it off and pikk 6..he then quits giving me the leisure of playing against the cpu for the rest of the game lol

if my opp is stupid and cant stop them then i will run them all day but if he is good i will use it on 3rd downs once in awhile

i dont nano cuz 1. i stop most people under center fairly well anyways and cant find any tht get to the quarterback quick enough and 2. it's easy to see wen the defense is going to run a nano and most of the time isnt too hard to beat one. i have no problem w people running a nano every now and then cuz they do come in handy but if people run it over and over eventually its gonna get toasted

it really depends on the skill of your oppent on some guys u could run the same nano over and over

Nobody has really answered my question yet. It was "How many times do you run a nano in a game?" I have about 40 nanos written down. I know you really can't run them every down. I know Nickel Odd Split has some good ones.

I probably run them about 5-8 times a game.

i only send the the heat when i got a player who got alot of timeing routs dem timing routs will kill you

i do outside heat a lot probably 3-4 times every possession( if its a decently long possession) but that iss just cause its so easy to hide that i am doing it. an actual nano though ill only do like 3 too 4 times a game. depending on if i respect the person im playing if its some baddie that i just want the ball back from or to boost my sack per game stat ill nano him all game if he cant stop it.

I had a guy come in quarter or dollar then audible to goal line, theres some kinda nano out of that. Anyways, heres the funny part, i run a toss play and his guy comes in so quick he picks off the toss.


OT: I run them anytime I fee like the dude is ganna pass. Depending on how the game is being played (if we both playing legit ball I wont run the same nano more than once a drive) if the dude is cheesing then i'll find a nano that works on him and run it until he figures it out. Then when he does i'll find another nano

I blitz about 40% of the time.. the key thing is mixing it up like someone else said. I blitz so much when I run coverage plays (I make some minor adjustments to make it look like im blitzing) the guy panics and throws it into coverage.

i nano about every single play but i might mix in a fag d or only a 3 man rush sometimes to try to throw my opponent off

Theirs really no answer because theirs no set how many times you nano a game.. You nano when the situation calls for it, so it depends how many times your in that situation
