Help with 46 Bear

i keep hearing how good the 46 playbook is and im solid with the regular 46 formation (its my base D out of of the jets PB). i want to make the switch so if anybody would be willing to help me out with the 46 bear it would be much appreciated. you can hit me up on live. my GT is crazyblack001 or you can just help me out here

46 Bear's got lots of nanos. Easy one is SS Blitz. Pinch O Line. Reblitz LDT. Put SS over top of the DT and reblitz. Insta A Gap Pressure.

Flip a play on any passing down and reblitz the 4 linemen and you will often get great pressure just from that if the person is too dumb to slide protect or leave extra blockers in.

why do you need to flip it?

46 bear is so bad ass...sometimes i wonder why i switched to 3-4 last week, all i really ran was 46 bear. Another nice nano, is buzz weak. Re-blitz dt, and rde. put your blitzing lb between and wicked pressure. If the linebacker doesn't get there, your dt def will. I can be beat with a running play with a blocker though so look out for that. Someone mentioned saftey fire and that is nice as well, then you can drop into cover two, they will expect a blitz and easy pics all game. good luck sir

My base is the normal 46 too, the bear I only use on occasion. What i like to do a lot though is come out with dime personel and audible down to it and nano with it in passing situations.

lololol, thats teh dirty dime scheme i used all year... i thought it was only me... works like magic with the steelers too... you can get polamalu or harrison free in the backfield every play... kudos!

Some people also say that you need to flip the play before you use the Sam Snake nano, but I have much more success with it unflipped.

Anyway, I reblitz my DL often...flipped and unflipped, and I get good pressure both ways.

so ive finished reviewing the 46 book... we should hook up, i run almost all of htese plays, however max sting looks a little different than my version, holler at me on xbl, we can easily triple the size of that book together... u got some good stuff tho 4 real
