Caught from behind

I have been noticing lately i have been getting caught from behind a lot. Most of the time its with felix jones, which seems weird since he has so much speed. I'm not getting caught by angles, ppl just seem faster than him, lb's etc. I keep him fresh cause i use four rb's....and yes i am holding speed burst. Just seems weird wondering if anyone else notices it.

Same thing for me, no lb should catch any lb... but it has hapened

I know that in several of the updates they increased the defensive pursuit, in order to eliminate a lot of the big scoring from guys like AP and CJ.

wanna tell me how the hell CJ gets caught by ray lewis in a footrace??

CJ needs to quit smokin them cigarettes

i like how they took that away a little, it makes the gmae more competetive and alot more fun then like having someone break a 80 yard td run on the first play

idk man cj breaks those long runs all the time... its why he is so good and thats what makes a lot of RBS the best in the league. they shouldnt have taken that out

its called fatigue cj just got tired and plus since the patch came out they put in new pursuit angle,for the defensive players

I know what you are talking about, they get caught but it's not just fatigue, the angle at which they get tackled looks really awkward, almost like they dive at you from 5 or 6 yards away but still get you.

Glad it not just me then... I played last night, had a pic 6, and the rb seriously dove from the five yard line and tackled me into the endzone, was pretty amusing

OMG, i got this same problem, i use the Eagles now, and LB's and slow safties catch up wit L.McCoy and D.Jax... can u explain that 1?

CJ is never tired for me being i use lendale white for about 15 carries per game.

i have had a fresh CJ get caught from behind, in a straight footrace with ray lewis. no angles or anything like that

Sometimes they legitamately tire out at the end of the run and get caught, but other times the defender dives at you from 5 yards away and still gets you. It looks super weird and you can tell when it happens.

ehh i dont really got a problem with a guy comin and tackling a fast ass guy since i see it happen all the time in the NFL i mean even d linemen do it sometimes lol

Same thing happens to me! I know it's not from fatigue! It was first kickoff to start the game soo everybody is fresh. I got Desean Jackson (98 speed) back takes it to the thrity spins and is in the wide open field for about 80 yards all of the sudden the KICKER comes out of no where and catches up to me! Luckily Desean broke the tackle but I've been jipped like that many times before.

Its a glitch from the new patch, there is a video of it somewhere. Some dude was bitching about it. If you notice closely, you will see ur guy stutter when he is straight running.

that happend before the patch too

I've gotta be honest, I've never had an issue with it.

I can't think of too many occasions where I was running down the field with a really fast guy, and got tracked down from behind by someone of slower speed.

Of course, I rotate my running backs often, so fatigue isn't really a factor for me when I break off a big run.

for some reason when i break a big run with sproils or reggie, when i get to like the 20 yard line my dude starts to skip allowing the defense to catch up...has that happened to ne of u guyz??jus lik sik with skill said

i really like that they put that this in but i disagree with how they decided to do it. they put in the little hitch animation which is really stupid but the idea is that fast players can be caught from behind just like in real football. u see CJ break a few big ones every year but before he or AP would be breaking a few big ones every game which is just not right. before they put this in if i had 93 speed and u had 92 speed and i had a step on you it was over which is just completely stupid. i like what they were going for but i don't love how they executed it by putting in the hitch.

^^^ Best post of the thread, in real life you do see guys tire out and get caught from behind by much slower players, but the animation just looks unnatural.

i get the same problem and i use deshaun jackson and get caught once hes in from of peopel he should not be caught seems as if they sllow down at times
