Is this right?

Okay, I have a league with 9 of my friends. 3 of which are from a different city, I know only 1 of the 3. All 3 are friends. Anyways, the season goes fine. No problems what so ever. Now that the league has only 4 left 2 of the 4 are from the different city. Now is it right for the one that was knocked out to totally dump his team and notices that his friends are ahead of anyone else in the playoffs on the waivor order?

As it turned out, one of his friends picked up Frank Gore and Knowshon Moreno, and the other picked up Matt Shaub, and Brent Celek. The two other players in the league are left with no one good to claim.
