Halftime Show and Pre-game animations have to go...

I would like to know what everyone's opinion of this is, because I get truly annoyed at it.

The in game halftime show is an absolute joke, it takes pressing x or start 10 times to skip through all the crap.
It is completely useless. Madden should take a page from fifa in this regard in how to do a well put halftime animation.

Its simple, just show reel of the key plays and then the stats. In Franchise mode another screen for scores of other games and that is it.

The pre-game animation are equally annoying having to press skip multiple times to get to the coin toss. We don't care to look at bad animations of fans buying hot dogs and what not, just get us to the start of the game.

BTW, the fan animations after plays or touchdowns need to be removed, they are terrible and only add to the total time we are forced to view crappy animations.

I think EA, literally means "What you see on Sunday, you see in the game", but they mean it from TV coverage perspective, with the drawn out intro and half time "show". I think next year they will put commercial breaks in the game and try to sell it as "what you see on sunday, you see in the game"haha....

ps. If I am wrong and many people like these animations (i doubt there are many though) at least put an option to completely cut them from the game in the options menu....

I agree with you to some point. I kinda like the cutscreens in small portions. Ya, they can be pretty random at times. The pregame needs more of an empahasis on Standings and current statistical league leaders in dynasty mode. Dont know about u but I love the Ray Lewis pregame animation, very well done there. Thats what EA needs more of. I live in Pittsburgh, so why not a section of fans waving the terrible towel on a 3rd and long. Not some random fat dude with his shirt off that I see atleast once a game. Ya cutscreens need touched up, but could be alot worse.
