help stopping the pass

Alrite usually im pretty good at stopping the pass however i played someone above wat i usually play (lv 17) and he played with the saints and all he did was pass every play and it seemed like no matter wat i did hed complete a pass for 7+ yards every time. I was playing with the vikings who dont have a great secondary, but still i dont think it should be this easy. I was primarily running cover 3, cover 4, cover 2, a little man, and id nano from time to time. Any advice?
