| Stemming a couple of posts in another thread, I have a question for the Madden community. What should EA do to make the game more fair and realistic?
I'm talking about the way Madden manipulates the ratings of players on the different difficulties. As of now, Madden makes the game harder by boosting computer ratings and declining the user's player ratings. This leads to all the problems of a corner with "88" speed running stride-for-stride with Randy Moss, Josh Freeman going 23/25 and 4 TDs etc. I have as much of a problem with it as anyone else, but the questions is, does anyone have a better, REALISTIC way to solve the problem with how increased difficulties are handled? sloppyjoe1762 winnin $$$ @ gamersaloon.com

| A whole new engine which makes tackles realistic same wit broken tackles and between the trenches more natural. Make more interaction between the DB and WR and all that. That would make this realistic for me. | |

| There currently is not enough computational power in the game system. It will continue to get better, but a lot of the power is assigned to make the runners arms and legs look real, run correct etc... the stadium atmosphere... uniforms... and that stuff is also important.
One of the big problems is, if I pull my Left End over to the right in a 3-4 D. Then the LG and LT just stand there, how stupid is that.

| Defensive players stay too glued to a small area when defending the pass instead of reading and reacting. | |

| i cant remember the name of it but in GTA 4 the engine they used could change on the fly, they used real life physics for how the player mooved and such. maybe they could switch to this? i dont know a whole lot about video games so i dont know if this could work | |

| It all depends you can have a great engine for a few guys and it is ok but then you try it with 22 guys and you don't have enough processing power. | |
