This guy has 12 312 career rushing yards in 9 years. Out of these 9 seasons, 4 were 12 games long and 5 were 14 games.

AP reminds me of Earl Cambell and Herschell Walker. He just doesn't know how to run out of bounds or take a fall. He continues to throw his shoulder into people and try to run them over. It may lead to a short career. When I first saw him he didn't know how to take a big hit, it looks like he has learned that.

Yea and emmit had a great Oline while Barry had a terrible Oline and team. Barry coulda shattered records so emmit wouldn't touch them on a terrible team. Emmit wouldn't have touched any records while being on a fuckin pro-bowl team. Not only is Barry #1 to me but I would also put walter payton #2 and Emmit #3.

Jim Brown is the best ever, but I can't believe O.J. Simpson isn't mentioned either?

Like CJ said over on ZebraGamer... you really can't have best running back ever because you really can't compare... Jim Brown to Barry or Emmit, etc. You can have best of the decade of something like that... but to me its hands down Barry over Emmit

Interesting how you can say Emmitt could not have put up those numbers on a worse team when there's no evidence or reasoning to believe so. You're sounding like Super Mario right now.

Gale Sayers....number 2? Are you serious? The dude had under 5,000 yards in his career, which only lasted 7 years. He only scored 39 TDs in his career. He was great, but to say that he is better than Payton, Smith or Sanders is simply absurd.

And so what if Emmitt was on a dream team? I seemed to have missed the part where his teammates helped him break all those tackles.
