The Celtics finally gave Rajon Rondo the money he wanted. Its reported he's agreed to a 5-year extension worth more then $55 million. People will be criticizing him for the first few years cuz his PPG will be low as there is no need to try and score with a team that's full of scorers. I think it was a great move, he is the only young piece on the Celtics who they can build around for the future. If we didn't get him signed we would be back to where we started the 2006 season which was one of the worst teams in the NBA. Rondo proved while KG was hurt during the playoffs he can score and be one of the best 5 PGs in the league averaging 16 points, 9.7 rebounds, and 9.8 assists per game. its about time the celtics did something to help the future of the franchise!
