i mean he has always been solid in his years at seattle but he is just beasting now

The reason they don't run a lot is the eagles use the screen and short pass a lot. The backs will chip come off and get a screen in the backfield. Not the same as a run but has about the same effect.

I still look for the big play, to make the difference. And philly I believe leads the league in big plays.

Let's hope it goes the Cowboys way this time.

I believe the Eagles have shown a big weakness that is gonna be further exposed this year. The linebacking crew for the Eagles is hurt, and I know the Eagles blitz a lot. But they ran the LB Dogs blitz about 6 times. It looked to gimmicky to me and I thought they did it to cover their linebacker weakness. If they continue, then other teams will expose it further.

Well as previous years.. one game is close and one is a blowout. So who's going to get blown out of Dallas. That game if both Teams stay on track and the Giants keep losing.. which I am sure they will. Eli will have lost all confidence by the time they play Dallas or Philly again. I think the last game of the season will be for the NFC east.. and the loser will get the Wild Card. Good game for the boys.. Eagles had nothing for the D-Line. We'll get em though.. we'll see you week 17.

That was a nice catch by Maclin and the only long one all game, But turned out that it didn't matter they couldn't get it going all game. McFag had a bad game 4 sacks and 16 of 30 passes but that's our pass defense. Where was Jackson O-Yeah shutdown

Sorry some teams can actually run the ball. This isn't madden, offenses need running games as well as passing to get the job done. This could be why the Cowboys are sittin pretty at 6-2 and the Texans are a mediocre 5-4.

the game was really good, actually. i'm surprised malcom jenkins did as good as he did. he shut us down. maclin had that one nice catch, but he had the other that hit off his hands. later in the game, mcnabb forced a pass to him which jenkins intercepted. i think the call on the 4th and short was BS, but all credit goes to the cowboys.

Yeah, I'll agree with the 4th and short I suppose. I mean I talked to a lot of people today about that, not just Cowboys and Eagles fans. It was about 50/50. Half said it was conclusive and that he was on top of a cowboy therefore not down. The other half also brought of a valid point. They said he was on top of a cowboy but you could not see his left elbow and if it was on the ground at any point before he crossed the marker. Without seeing that, you can't have conclusive evidence to overturn it.

There were bad calls all game though, but it was consistently bad. That one play by Samuel on Roy Williams in the endzone where he hooked his arm should have been PI but it wasn't called.

It was fun to watch... a good defensive game and yeah Mike Jenkins played great



O-Yeah F**k the Texans

It was just the kind of NFC East game, we all want to see. Tough, hard-nosed football. The spotting by the refs was terrible though, and mostly it went against Philly. Boo -fukking- hoo, that's the way it goes.
