The last couple of ranked games I played, the guys I played against ran mostly the Nickel 1-5-5, and it didn't seem like they hot-routed many players either. While I won the games, I had a LOT of trouble moving the ball against them.
I had trouble running up the middle, I had trouble throwing, and I only had middling success on runs to the outside. I run the west coast playbook and generally play conservative, short quick throws and run the ball, try to make a good catch and run, then mix in some gun plays.
What are some good ways to attack the 1-5-5?
