Formation: Gun Split Offset
Package: Normal
Subs: RB2 for FB
Play: WR Corner
Pre Snap Adjustments: Hot Route A to a slant to the outside
This play requires a bit of football knowledge but can be a pain in the a** for defenses. Against any kind of zone the first read should be the corner to see if he is playing flats or deep thirds. If the corner is droping back throw to either B on the quick inside slant or y for a "NICE" gain. If he is playing flats A all day on the outside slant.
Against cover 3 B will consistantly be open in the middle of the field and once again if thats not open Y will be open. LB is always available on checkdown.
Against man, B is still open on the quick slant, A seems to be a bit more covered and of couse Y is still Open.
Don't forget about the backside post, and try rolling out
you will like what you see!
This is a play you just have to lab, but it is pretty much undefendable. (especially if you use RB to pick up nano)
