generally, if you wanna stop a play you think is going to be a run, you want to use a man blitz. try using some 46 plays like:

rush outside
weak blitz
ss blitz

then user your safety or a LB instead of a lineman. this way, if the safety is suppose to drop back in coverage you can bring him up closer to the line to help in run protection.
