| I am somewhat new to playing madden (faithfully) and I dont really have solid themes and fundamentals yet so I cant really contribute to the community much,... but I can however, contribute to all of your teaching skills I was wondering if anyone could let me know of some good running tactics... not necessarily PLAYS,... but more of HOW TO RUN BETTER. (ie: jukes, spins etc.) are there any tactics for right after receiving the hand off, breaking through the line, etc. Thank you in advance for the info and help | |

| When i recieve the ball i usually wait till i am at the line of scrimmage to use turbo. If i am someone like Adrian Peterson I just use the truck stick. But I also cover the ball to when the game is on the line, a turnover can make or break a game at times. Remember, Keep it simple, don't force anything. Cover the ball. | |

| running up the gut, don't sprint right away, find a hole, follow blockers then burst through either trucking or zig zagging. and cover the ball! | |

| My advice would be to go to practice mode and practice all your runs against random defense. It'll help you see your holes and whether you should cut inside or go outside.
One of my things is to use the center to split the defense in half. Wherever there are less defenders is the side I run to.

| look up the ratings for your o-line.i use the jets and the left guard is a 98 rated run blocker.the fullback is a 97 over all.the other side of my o-line is ranked around 80 so i mostly run to the left. | |

| the best tip you can ever learn to becoming a better runner, is covering up the ball everytime a receiver, running back, or quarter back is running with the football by hitting r1 (ps3) & RB (360).
the next tip is timing your cuts and jukes, 1 or 2 games can get you more than familiar with your timing. but to be a great runner takes dedication and practice. learning to read the field, read your blockers, and find daylight (cut back lanes)
