i've lost more games to the computer than actual people.
everytime people quit or get disconnected the computer comes in and just runs up n down the field on me. any tips 2 stop the comp?

I would advise you to use madden because madden picks plays for the computer and then you use maddens choices to counter the computers plays.

run out the clock as much as possible if ur winning. and do ur best to stop them on 3rd cuz the comp will usually punt.

the CPU can usually be beaten by playing smart. by that i mean, don't blitz all the time. the CPU's QB will usually get frustrated and throw the ball into coverage or try to run and get sacked. if you blitz all the time, though, the CPU will find open men, they are usually pretty good about that.

CPU is unbeatable to me. I use madden to pick my defensive plays.

I usually win my games vs. human opponents.

I can not figure it out either.

Damn who are you guys playing?? I can play an all pro game and beat the CPU to shits.

I talked to a few people and they say the same thing about the ease of beating the CPU. I don't quite understand it.

I have a much better team vs. a human opponent. My human opponents are in my online franchise. I am undefeated vs. human, but completely defeated vs. computer (have yet to win ONE!).

u must be playin some people who kno absolutly nothing about football in that franchise then, if u aint able to beat the cpu on all-pro u must not be that good.

Ok, my adivce for Afew88 would be, stick to flat and screen pases becus the CPU likes to run a lot of man coverage

I did have a 67 YD Touchdown using the "Gun Doubles - FL Screen" pass out of the Eagles play book against the CPU.

I haven't really started playing online yet. I just got the PS3 and wanted to learn against the CPU before I played humans. Guess I should start playing humans cause the CPU does move the ball on me but they are easy to stop if they get into the red zone.

The post earlier about playing smart is right on. The CPU can stop deep pass after deep pass but if you dink and dunk with short passes and check down routes you can move the ball effectively on them. Also, maybe blitz one person max on defense and run zones to contain their offense (except for the NYG who punish you with Jacobs).

I would just say, play some offline games against the CPU to get used to playing them so that you can get your online win in the future after people quit.
