how do you stop passes to the running backs? they always seem to be uncoverable by the linebackers. seems like everyone i play online only throws to the hb. the defenders dont line up on their man when you run man coverage either, so then from the start your defender is waaaay out of position to even guard his man....very frustrating.

try calling a blitz play where one of the safetys is blitzing. before the snap put the blitzing safety on the rb.

what about defenders completely lining up out of position? very frustrating that you dont have the option to line them up automatically....man align doesnt do Sh****t

Most LBs can't run with the better HBs. If your opponent is throwing a lot of short, quick passes to the HB, don't bother blitzing. Instead bring in an extra DB and play zones that cover the short middle (hook zones) and flats.

i'll have to try that out. i wish blitzing was more effective without trying to exploit the game with nanos. dominant lb and dl in real life should be dominant in the game too. i thought this game was supposed to be the most realistic one to date?

You can tweak the blitz plays with line shifts, LB shifts, and/or line crashes to make them more effective.

i find getting pressure very easy in this game, w/o using nanos. user control a DE and use the right stick to work your way around the linemen. it's not that hard once you get the hang of it.

messin around earlier i found that if you just change the blitz assignment for the players you have blitzing (hit "a" pre snap then RS down) your players get better penetration that way. still really wish players would line up better for man coverages though. anyone know of a patch or anything to fix this?
