Need help on D

Ok, my offense is decent, and keeps me in games, but my D is absolutely terrible. I play with the eagles and use their PB....anyone have any suggestions as to how I can get better? Anyone willing to lab and help me out?

ma i suggest (i use the eagles also) use multy d their are some good nanos 1 whick is perfect on under the center plays and to stop the opponents passing game...if u have a 360 i'll help u more

I have 360 too unfortunately, but use as many DB's as possible and as few LB's. Gocong, etc. are only 70's, but their DB's are all rated well with good speed. So 4-6 w/ speed package or nickel are good formations for them. You still need LB's for run support and all, but 2 is probably all. Their DB's can hit though and make good tackles and also play man well. Bring pressure, force bad throws and make picks, that's like the Eagle motto.

My biggest prob is with passes over the middle and passes to the flats. I just seem to get picked apart.

yea i would say try to find nickel or even dollar nanos wit the eagles.. force a quick throw and wit the ability of those corners, they can jump the route and pick it or at least swat it down..

u runnin zones im guessin? maybe even sum man? but u gotta make sum man zones or mix it up wit sum nanos occasionally.. it wont get torched like ur makin it sound if u do that..

Ok so I'm playing online right now, I tried the 4-6 speed option...its killin...I've got 4 picks in the first half.

yea it's a special play in nickle i use to shut down the passes with the eagles....go into 1-5-5 nickle and go into cover 2 show blitz it can stop the screen short and deep passes..i had that same prob untill i tried that play and now im averaging almost 2 picks a game
