Rocket Catching

can some one tell me how to do this on madden 10, i try to do it and my reciever doesnt react quick enough and the ball gets picked off by the db. it feels like you cant do it anymore but ive seen some people do it. if u could step by step tell me how that would be great. thanks

if youve seen some people do it then what receiver were they using? if yours didnt react fast enough.. or maybe they just got lucky hahah

rocket catching is pretty easy. in order to rocket catch curls on this year's game, you have to tap the receiver's icon as opposed to holding it in. this will lob it and it will give u time to step in front of the corner and when you step in front of the cb hold the catch button in to get your receiver to jump as high as he can go. this works best with tall receivers who have a good catch in traffic rating.

Its not really called rocket catching. Just control the reciever and put him right before the ball and hold down Y. Its hard to do because the game is a lot slower than last year
