Quarter - DB Strike (Flipped)
a) Pinch the Defensive Line
b) Stunt the DL up.
c) Pinch and Blitz the MLB
d) Bump and Run if you like. You might want to place the Safety in Deep Zone.
This is a good defense that from the weak side the DB should get pressure on the QB. If you blitzing
DB is not on the weak side, you might want to flip the play back.
Quarter Normal - 2 Man Under Spy - Nano Blitz
a) Coverage audible to bump n’ run.
b) Pinch your defensive line in
c) Crash your defensive line in.
d) Pinch your MLB. Blitz your MLB.
e) Control a safety. Your MLB should come in untouched.
This blitz has 4 people rushing. This has great pressure with great coverage. The faster your MLB is
the faster you get in.
Quarter Normal Under Smoke
a) Pinch the defensive line.
b) Move the LB between the NT and RE. Make sure he is lined up as close to line as
he can be without going off sides.
The LB gets A Gap pressure between the C and LG. Watch for the LT or LG to block him. If
they do, you will need to move the DB1 (inside DB on the left) across from the LT to assure
that the LB shoots through the A Gap.
Quarter Normal LB Fire.
a) Pinch the defensive line.
b) Show fake blitz.
c) Hot route the SS to blitz.
Look for A Gap pressure from the SS.
Quarter 3 Deep - Man Up 3 Deep.
a) Dont use Bump and Run on this defense.
b) Shade the Safety to the right.
c) Take the Safety on the far left and place him to the sideline.
d) Pinch the Defensive Line
e) Crash the Defensive Line down.
This defense helps against the Post Corner Routes and also uses the 3 Man Rush Glitch
to create pressure on the QB.
Quarter Normal - Ram Buck.
a) Call Bump and Run.
b) Reset the Play- This sets up the delayed Bump and Run
c) Pinch Defensive Line.
d) Stunt the Line Down
e) Place the blitzing LB between the DT and RDE.
f) Play Maker the player guarding the RB into a deep zone.
g) Shade the Safety zones up to the sideline.
h) Manually rush the blitzing DB off the edge.
The Blitzing LB, most times, will not get blocked by the RB. Practice this to get the feel of this
defense.
Quarter Normal - 3 Deep
a) Freeze the defense.
b) Playmaker the defender in the hook zone into a deep zone. Roam the middle of the
field with him to not get beat, also look at using him on crossing routes.
c) Pinch the defensive line. Crash the defensive line down.
d) Man up the MLB playing the hook zone to the best WR.
This defense should keep the coverage great down the field. PRACTICE.
Quarter Normal - Quarters Contain
a) Freeze the defense.
b) Playmaker the defender in the hook zone into a deep zone. Roam the middle of the
field with him to not get beat, also look at using him on crossing routes.
c) Pinch the DL. Crash the DL down
d) Playmaker each outside CB who are in deep zone to blitz.
Quarter Normal - 2 Man Under Spy
a) Pinch the defensive line down. Crash the defensive line down.
b) Manually move the LB down on the LOS and in between the C and LDE.
c) Press (360 - A / PS3 - X), then flick down on the left analog stick and hold until play begins.
d) Hold Right tripper in addition to the left analog stick down to sprint in at
full speed as soon as the snap is taken.
Manually Blitzing takes some practice to get used to it, but you will become a
nightmare for your opponent when you master it, So Practice.
Quarter Normal - Zone Blitz
a) Loop the Defensive Line.
b) Place the Middle LB in a hook zone. Bump and Run
c) Man up the Outside DBS with the Outside WRS.
d) Control one of the Blitzing DBS and try to time the snap.
Practice this defense, gets great pressure on the QB
