Fl screen

I found out how deadly this play is last night,how do you guys stop it?

He wasnt just thrownin the screen he would hit the out route and if he had enough time the WR doing the post for six.......

i hate this play, and when someone good they switch it up with RC curls and deep corner routes

He didnt RC or do any curls that would've been crazy.

yea like my olb will be in flat zones but that 5 yard out route still gets open, i feel ya lol

I was runnin multi-d i ran 3-4 drop zone De's in contain,nickle1-5-5 cover 3,nickle 2-4-5 none of those worked.

Perfect way to stop.
Call cover 3 out of any formation

Then Press Traingle and Up so everyone backs off (Stop's the deep post)

Then take one of your players (I use my DL) and then manually gaurd the screen.
Shut its down all the time.

how would you have time to throw a good rc when its a screen I can't throw'em under that kind of pressure

You re block your TE and HB. Cover 2 Buc and a Contain on the side the screen goes to usually stops it.

this is a deadly play...especially if someone has it and a few other plays outta the same formation set in their audibles. and then...with their hot-routes? wow! makes it really tough to know "when" the screen pass is actually coming.

the only time i have a problem stoping it is vs the TB playbook
but i know ways to stop both with the same play

that is true cause the bums will mix it in with the direct snap

only problem fa me when i use this is i move some people off the line but when my opponet duz see that they usually hit me with direct snap

i stop both plays by coming out in quarter 3 deep contain and calling out run
shift the line to the right or pinch

TB PB...direct snap, flanker screen....hard for me to stop. Just hard to guess what there gonna do. Played a bum that done it last week and he said HE HAD SKILL. I just laughed.....

my guess with the setup crunk gave u is he would manual one if the deep safetys and cover the post manually..
