im not as big of a baseball fan as i use to be, but i still have that sentimental connection towards all sports, and the athletes i watched as a kid.

After 23 seasons, Curt Schilling has found its his time to retire. I'll always remember him as a Philly, but as a Sox fan, I appreciate what he's done in Boston.

Bloody Sock 4 Life.

lol that's funny because I remember him as a Diamondback and a Red Sox pitcher...I completely forgot about him being on the Phillies until you mentioned it...

As a person, Schilling always annoyed me because he was always writing outrageous things on his blog..My thoughts were that he's a baseball player and I don't care what his stance is on political or other issues...

As a baseball player though, Schilling was absolutely brilliant...Like you mentioned, I will never, ever forget the bloody sock...It's a pretty courageious decision to pitch a game with a loose tendon in you ankle...Still, I wish him the best and appreciate what he has done for the game of baseball...

lol yeah it seems like his years in Arizona and Boston have overshadowed the Phillies years... He was lights out in the Diamondbacks' and Red Sox's title runs.

I dont know if he will be a HOF, but should be. Great playoff pitcher, but above average regular season pitcher.
