The Miami Heat and Toronto Raptors completed their long-discussed trade
Friday, with the Heat sending forward Shawn Marion and guard Marcus
Banks to Toronto in exchange for forward/center Jermaine O'Neal and
guard Jamario Moon, according to two league sources

I can't believe that the heat got Jamario Moon too in this deal, watch out for the heat to become serious contenders

yea its looking even better for da heat(wade,Moon,beasley,o'neal,and chalmers). their tryin to make a serious run in the east

his contract is expires this year

leaving raptors with gettin a a lot of money

they can then sign him back.. or Mostly likey sign a next A-List free agent

n just lose every game

and get more chances in getting the first overall pick

and then u could use that and trade or pick up the best player in the nation

Marion needs players around him to be good. O'Neal will help the Heat in the post. Moon is pretty much a shot blocker and a dunked nothing else.

the heat got better but dont get it all twisted... they are NOT serious contenders with this trade. they needed a big man and they went and got it but at the cost of one of their best players. they got slightly better and will not have a chance vs the magic, celtics, or cavs in the playoffs. and as far as jamario moon goes all he does is dunk and it gets peoples attention, hes one of the most overrated youngsters in the league.

Wade is by far the heats best player, not Marion. This trade will allow the heat to compete for that finial playoff spot and be competitive against the elite teams now with a true big man in Oneal. This trade, just might be what Oneal need, to motivate him into being the allstar player of the past.
