Madden online question

Whenever i try to invite my friend into a game neither of us can see each other. Both of us are at the screen where we pick our teams but we cant play. I have heard that this is because we cant connect but i was wondering if there was any way to fix this. It seems like lately we can never play and its getting really annoying, does any1 know what i should do so we can play?

try signing out, or wait it out

It has something to do with your connection type being NAT 2. You may have to hard wire your PS3 straight to your modem or router. I have this problem too, but I think it is because I play wirelessly.
