fb dives

how do u stop fb dives effectively? im playing the chargers now and he runs fb dive every play to sproles.... i dont wanna run commit cuz once in awhile he throws a bomb to cromartie (yes this bum put cromartie on offense)

I either try to rip through the OL with Haynesworth or control a linebacker.

1-5-5 zone blitz... I prefer the cover 2 zone blitz'

i use the 3-4 Stack: Thunder Smoke. when i know for sure that the fb dive is coming....i will pinch the LBs and Crash the D-Line Inwards and then i BnR. this is a man defense...so, if you use it....make sure that you know the dive is coming or....hot-route a few defenders to cover the middle of the field and the flats.

4-6 bear - plug cover 1... move SS directly behind the LDT... your left... not the games left..

I use 4-6 cover 3.. Il show blitz, then align man, then re blitz both lb's in yellow zones and put em directly behind both dt's and bam.. fb dive is stuffed

^ quick slant... imo i would realize that i would get stuffed from that and audible into a quick slant and a fade

lol he is asking for a fb dive, so if thats all they are runnig then that will stop em... and if i see ya audible then il audible simple as that

ic...... i just tried the nickel 1-5-5 tho... it is freakin nice... i user with the SS like a MLB and just react to the play...covering the flats if needed

anything with a blitz in the middle and show blitz

yaa blitzzzzz and show blitz work effectively

anything in 46 pinch and crash the line should stop the fb dive.. If u know its coming for sure then send ur LBs too.
