Signature Rules

1. No Links to Dangerous/Offensive Websites/Other Forums
You may not
advertise any sites unless they are approved by the admin and you may
not link to phishing sites or anything similar, or sites that break
basic forum rules such as porn or offensive pages.

2. No Text
that is Higher than Size 3
Simple, don't use any tags that make text
Size 4 or bigger. You can have as many colors and capitals in your
signature as you want now.

3. No Signatures Taller than 300
Pixels
Your signature, when measured in pixels, cannot be taller than
300 pixels. To measure it, just take a screenshot of it and measure in
MS Paint or another program.

4. No Signatures Wider than 600
Pixels
This means you can't have an image that's 40000x1 pixels or
something to stretch people's screens, or put a ton of characters in a
row or something. Make sure if you have a long word or image that it
doesn't exceed 600 px wide.

5. No Offensive Content
This can
include text, images, or whatever. You may NEVER bypass the censor in
your signature, in part or in whole; it must be completely starred out
if you use a censored word. You also may not have any images that use
censored words in them, or any other offensive types of images. You also
may not insult any person or group of people, or falsely quote someone.
If it is something that they actually said on the forums (or
elsewhere), you are free to quote them.

Note that these rules
also apply to your usertitle, profile picture, user details, and
anything else that is seen every time you post.

6. No large GIFs
or .bmp files
You may not have over 500KB when all of your images are
added up (this only happens if you have large animated GIFs), and you
cannot have any bitmap, or .bmp, pictures, as they are far too large and
take too long to load.


Signature FAQ

1. Is my
signature okay?
This is the place to ask that. Please Keep any
questions regarding your signature in this thread. Do not PM the Mods or
Admins regarding your signature. If you find a signature offensive them
please report it to an Admin or Mod.

2. What happens if I break
the rules?
Here are the punishments for breaking the rules.
Each
time you are found with a rule-breaking signature, you will be given a
warning/infraction with a usernote left recording what was wrong with
your signature, when the warning/infraction was given, who gave it, etc.

1st
Warning - Rule-breaking part is removed.
2nd Warning - Entire
signature is removed.
1st Infraction - Entire signature is removed
with the loss of ability to have a signature temporarily and receive 1
infraction point which last 10 days.
2nd Infraction- Entire signature
is removed with loss of ability to have a signature permanently and
receive 3 infraction points which is an auto ban for one day but the
points last 10 days.
Banned - Entire signature is removed,
two-week-long ban from the forums, and loss of ability to have a
signature permanently.


3. I was given a
warning/infraction/ban unfairly. What do I do?
First, you need to
have proof that your signature was okay (by using the thread or a
screenshot) otherwise it's very unlikely anything will be done. Note that
this should only be used for serious complaints, and PMing them just to
whine that you didn't know the rules or something will not be
tolerated.

4. Someone has a rule-breaking signature. Who can I
contact?
Any Administrator
If the signature is especially offensive (such
as if it has pornography or spam), you should PM any staff
member right away.

Please remember when you PM someone to
report a signature to explain what's wrong with the signature, just like
when you use the Report button.

5. What happens when I lose the
ability to have a signature?
If it is only temporary then you will
get it back after a week or at the Admin/Mod discretion.
If it is
permanent, then you lose it forever unless the Admin/Mod finds that you
have earned your right to have one again.

REMEMBER, SIGNATURES ARE NOT A RIGHT, THEY ARE A PRIVILEGE.

okay mod i made a new sig, does it follow all the rules? i think i did it right but im not all smart with computers and things of that nature so if you could tell me if its cool or not i would appreciate it, i dont mind changing it either, i just wanna follow the rules, not a big deal for me ya know? thanks in advance.

ya brb u r good. It is just for people who have like 4 different images in their sig or people who have sigs that are so big that they stretch or distort the page.

Because i go around deleting them and telling people to take them down. I remember having to tell you a few times that you couldnt have 2 videos and 2 huge images in a sig all at once.

I prefer not to spend my time doing that if it can be avoided.

If you were the only member on madden-school we would be good to go, but since there are hundreds of active users, it makes it difficult. I had to tell you a few times to fix it a long time ago, and other members just yesterday to fix there's. The point is that not having a specific rule on it is creating extra work which could be used for something more productive.

yea, well need members to keep up with this. dont be afraid to tell a mod/admin if a member is breaking the rules

alot of users had big signatures for quite a while good rules none to less but i think little people will follow it

So whats the deal... You take Mario's, but Hungry has 2 big sigs. I'm just having trouble following what your trying to say.

i dont think theyre big just having both of em at the same time makes it look big

Both of hungrys sigs follow the rules. Mario's sigs were much much bigger

this isnt a drug dealership if u are breaking a rule it is dumb to do such as ebook trading, stealing plays from MS and posting as your own, huge sigs, and so on

You know, I can't find people with big sigs anymore...cause I blocked all those sigs lol.

yes mario in essence its like snitching. but we have a duty to the mods to inform them cause they cant be everywhere.
