Madd3n Guru- How Use An Offense To There Advantage

Okay so when the game first came out I use to use the eagles with the run heavy playbook. It worked okay but not great, and you always want to aim for great. So then I tried running the run heavy with the vikings, but I had A.P fumbling every 10 touches or so.

So what I thought is that the Eagles are the perfect team for me. They have a fairly elite RB, and speedy receivers. They have amazing depth in QB

For long yardage I like putting McNabb

For short yardage I put Kolb. He's more accurate in the category

Every once in a while or on a 4 N 3 I like putting Vick. Most of the time ill just run it.

Once I had my madden team chosen I had to pick the right PB. So the eagles are a passing team so decided to pick the WCO PB. Because thats what they run in real life and it works well. And they have the FAR formation with that amazing quick toss.

So tell me what team you run with why and what PB you use...

i pick the vikings because they have 2 speedy receivers (harvin and berrian) and one with great hands (rice), and of course AP and taylor are hard to stop on the ground, and in some situations you can switch out favre for jackson who has decent speed and a big arm....but AP does have some problems with fumbling and if any of them get hit hard enough they are out for the game especially berrian, harvin, and AP

Cowboys. I use NE pb because of all the passing in it. I also like the STL pb with the dual back shotty set. That double delay route by the HB's is a very good play. The PA quick audible is good also in the snugs flipped formation. It also has two delay routes which is nice. The STL pb has the two fastest draws from shotgun (split cowboy and spread flex) which also helps when people like to run f@g defense.

Broncossss. I run denvers offense. Great balance IMO. I like to pound the rock an their run formations work out good. An i also got those deadly Shotgun packages to touch butts. lol. But its really nice. I cant stand speedy recievers. I just cant use em. IMO those beautiful BMarsh catches are like the 8th wonder of the world. Ill miss his talent next year. Eddie royal is SEVERELY underrated...

my problem with subs like this is how do you guys manage it? I mean once you start making subs in a game it would prob take you like 8 or 10 sec to pick a play based on what your oppenent is doing and then top of that with accel clock you will barely have any time to sub ppl back in and out consistenly while hotrouteing etc just sayin sounds like a liability you only have so much time my prob with subs in a game is mainly on defense

i dont really sub too too much on offense but its managable if you know what your doing, if i see desean is tired ill quickly sub in kurtis and roll from there, most of the time i already know what im gonna call so picking the play isnt hard cuz i know wich one i wanna do, subbing on defense is great if your players get tired your screwed cuz they wont make plays for you ive come up with a pretty good substitution system on offense and defense, i would really recomend looking more into it, it can really help you.

I run west coast with the Chargers or the steelers ...I like using the Steelers more because of there D but the offense with the Chargers is alot better...Big Ben is a beast tho so i guess it pretty much even..i just wish i could run the ball better out of the playbook ..hopefully next year they give us a few more running plays or keep the ones they have and hope that the blocking is better

Cowboys are my go to team and I use the west coast PB.

Cowboys with Pass Balanced.
I am pretty balanced and it has everything I need.

Pitt's p.book or westcost and the book of ELI>>>sea.p.book

Vikings with balanced or chargers with balanced and eagles with NE

Cowboys with NE or Chargers with Balanced

Raiders with the ARI Book. The reason ---> Great running plays and with all the speed at WRS shutgun tight and snug really opens the field while have micheal bush at RB running the streak and Mcfadden running the slants. best catch rating on the team sadly better then all of my Wrs he has an 80 catch rating.

I exclusively use the Baltimore PB. I find it really balanced with good running, playaction, singleback, and shotgun plays. I use it with the Lions but it is far more effective with the Colts. Mainly bc of thier depth at the skill positions. Addai+Brown+Hart is a nice little mix for the run game. Jacob Tamme is a great compliment to Dallas Clark. They also have four starters at the WR position and some guy name Peyton Manning. Most people just air it out with Indy but I like grindin it out with running the ball and a shorter passing game. Which makes Baltimore the idea PB for me.

cowboys and steelers with the houston offense and jets defense... enough said

also, for a fun switch up i like to play the 46 defense with them too
