Alright the splitback in madden 10 was one of the most deadliest formations in my opinion. now on to the tips

Shotgun splitback: WR corners(Both outside Wr's run a double route)

Step 1: Block L1

Step 2: Block R1

Step 3: Motion triangle near the line then snap( he should still be moving when you snap the ball)

step 4: Hike the ball

READS:
If its a man both wr's running the double route will be wide OPEN for a TD
if its a cover 2 man, triangle across the middle will be wideopen
if its a zone, either triangle will be open over the middle or you can just tuck it and run

Slants:Always have the 2 wr's on the WIDE side of the field

Step 1: Make Circle run a deep route

Step 2: Make square run a slant to the inside of the field

Step 3: make inside wr run a ''money route'' meaning an outside slant

Step 4: Block both RB's

HIKE BALL

READS:
Vs man triangle will be open every single time...9/10 he will get at least a 15 yard gain
Vs zone triangle will be open most of the time, but if not, the slant across the middle will be

The play is called Wr Post Corners and you dont have to block the fullback b/c he is in a delay route. if there is pressure he will block and if not then he will leak out for a short pass. (credit to sgibs)

if you smart route the 1 and 2 wrs in post corners they make their cuts much earlier and can lose the coverage quicker, also works against zone if there is not a buzz in there
