Singleback Y-Trips: Slot Drive

This is a great zone beater and also if they are in man, you have a chance to break a huge gain.


Setup
Smart route Circle (B)
Hot route X (A) to a drag
Streak Square (X)
Motion far outside receiver to the left and hike when he gets between the TE and Slot Receiver

Reads
If in man: Look to hit the running back on the delayed route for a big gain.
If in zone: Wait for the motioned receiver to get past the Linebackers for a pickup of about 20-30 yards


The only thing about this play that may be bad, is that if they play man and bring pressure, the running back may get caught up and it may result in a sack, but you could still dump it off to one of the drag routes.

I have the setup for PS3 and 360 lol. The original setup is for PS3 and the parenthesis is the 360 setup. But thanks Peyton for clearing that up.
