I got a question that I have been thinking about for a long time.Do you think newman is overrated?Do you really think he is still that fast?Because As a die hard fan and madden player I dont see how he gets 97 speed!I mean I know he is fast but how many times have you seen newman show off his speed!Am i just missing out on the decent coverage skills, and make up time he has and thats why i dont notice much.Cause I think hes speed might go down next year.I have to admit I dont pay much attention to him sense the camera isnt on him all the time.I would like to know what you think about him as a cb.And newman doesent have alot of good stats unless im missing out on something.Not a newman hater.I love returnin 75 yard touchdowns every other game but jus wondering.

Speaking from a Dallas fan point of view, he lost speed, so the 97 speed rating is a little bias for the ea programmers that are actually Dallas fans, and I personally know two of them but im not name dropping...lol

They will straighten it out when 11 comes out.

My thoughts excactly.Its too good to be true Newman isnt that fast anymore.Next year I expect it to drop to maybe 93 maybe 94 but 97.Lol and im a cowboys fan pointing this out!

Every pass came from tipped passes, and the only really big play in the 2nd game was the throw to jacobs that was on the weak side, where Terrence Newman never plays at. I won't even get on Newman and Moss because Moss was a non factor this season again us.

i can see your point of view i dont see like blazing speed from him in real life yet it always shows in madden, but he's never getting burned deep, it is what it is if anything you should be happy cuz that 97 speed can make players in madden s*** themselves when throwing to his side, i know im always a lil cautious of where i put the ball when i throw at guys like deangelo hall, antonio cromartie, and terrance newman cuz it seems like even if there beat there speed allows them to recover to make a pick or swat down.
all in all i think 97 might be a stretch cuz it doesnt seem like he would have 97 speed from watching him play but you gotta be happy with the rating right?!

Newman is still a good CB, he ran 4.38 at the '03 draft combine but I wounder what he runs now. Most of the times that he got burned were just bad play calling and when it happened he would normally catch up to them.
