my west coast mini scheme

since everyone is so afraid of the quick toss out of the far tight twins formation here are a couple of plays i like to run out of this formation
1. far tight twins x spot.
-smart route slot wr to a short slant next send the flanker on a drag route than smart route ur te or u can keep his original route depends on what u want. my 1st rea will be the outside slant that one is usually money for me(easy td) especially if my opp is playing the run. my 2nd read is the te 3rd is the flanker and my last read is the rb which is never.

2. far tight twins flats.
-smart route flanker and block the fb for extra protection.
1st read is the slot my 2nd is the flanker 3rd is the te and laxt is the rb.

3. i like to run the hb sweep if they stack the left side of the field alot and try to stop the quick toss.

now throw in the quick toss with this scheme and it great well for me at least

Is it me or on the far tight twins sweep play, doesnt the middle usually get blown up farely quick.. i usually get hit by the Dt or the end on the same side as the back,.. its usually or 1 or 2 yard gain or a 3-4 yard loss?? i have never broke on that paly.. any info on this.. and thats even when they stack against the toss play..

hey when I run the sweep even after the stack for the toss it seems the sweep gets blown up alot from the DE or up the middle... how are you running it and are u having alot of success??

I like to throw in the HB counter (slide protect opp. of side running to) with the toss and fb dive.
