k so i started a franchise with a created team, released all my computer generated doodes and built a team of free agents. has anyone else dont this at all? i found it to be a fun lil challenge for myself.

Nope haven't tried it, but I would assume a lot of the best players in free agency were the ones you released. Maybe.?!?

I have found only a few good free agents in my chise. Except for the offseason free agency signing period, and those players are kinda expensive.

But as you say that makes it a challenge.

no i just created a team then released all my computer generated players and built a team of nothing but true free agents, didnt mess with any of the teams to get players, it was fun cuz my guys werent the best, sounds wierd but it provided me with a nice challenge, then from there each season i tweaked and added FA's. im not a big fan of the computer generated rookies so i just released them all and signed FA's. try it out its pretty fun!
