PA X-Clown

I've been trying out this play at the end of halves and I can see the value in it. On the side with the deep post route, I put the guy on that side without the post route on a block. Shift line right, put the guy on the delayed blue route on a drag route, re block my RB and move him next to the guy on the post route and put him on a houte route right stick up. I run to the right and wait for the guy with the post to get behind the safety. It works, but I can't seem to make that catch. I play with the Titans and put Nate Washington there so I can get some speed, but the safeties always catch up. Any tips?

It used to be awesome. I kinda overused in previous years so I grew bored with it. It was borderline hacks it was such a good play last year. I use CLE playbook this year, so I still rock heavy Snugs but a diff scheme with no x clown cuz the book doesn't have it.

There was something to it, but some of the updates increased defensive pursuit. It is still a good play but harder to go deep.
Try some corner routes and other hot routes to the defenses weaknesses. You may like it.

Yeah that's where I got it from. I've been doing what he said but it still has been very hard to work with. I think maybe I should use the Eagles with it. DeSean Jackson behind the safeties and McNabb's arm would be deadly.

This play still works, but it was WAYYYYYYYY better last year. in 09, you could run this play exclusively and win.
