how to run the curl flat combo correct?

if anybody knows how to run the curl flat combo correctly can u please explain to me how?

doesnt work well in madden as it should. the idea is that the flat route occupies the flat coverage so that he can't back up to play the curl. without a purple zone the curl should be open. however in madden the flat zone kinda plays in between them where he can knock down/pick the curl and still get to the flats after the catch due to the way that flat route is run by the WRs.

Yea they tuned that waaaaay down this year after the curls were abused last year. But aslong as they dont have purple zones and u throw the ball high, over the flat coverage it should work.
