Superstar mode?

Hey

I have now played one season and I am in pre-season in my second season now.
But my skills is not better than when I started. Are there points like in FIFA? How do you get better?

I played several seasons and each of those seasons I got improvements in my Superstar. A few things to consider, winning is important, season stats are important, winning championships and the Superbowl is important. Also age is important.

I also noticed that when I chose the youngest age available my player did not advance as well the first year. I also know that players advance better between the ages of 22 to 25. And continue to advance less afterwards. Then when they hit mid 30's they will decline.

I might be able to be of further assistance if I had more details.

Oops please excuse parents question wrong version.

Either way I believe your problem is your season stats are not high enough, you did not advance in the playoffs.

Also as stated earlier your qb is young. Your best chance for advancement is between 22 and 25. I did not have as much luck advancing with a 21yr old as a 22yr old.

Unfortunately part of your problem is your team, no offense intended. Since you are not advancing in the playoffs I would recommend concentrating on season stats ie. Completions, percentage, yards and tds.

I also want to add just in case you did not know. All advancement is in the offseason mode just after superbowl.

I had some diffculties advancing my QB's rating, I am in my sixth season and I imported my player from college (NCAA 10) where my player won a heisman and left college with a 96 rating. Here is what I have accomplished with my created player in Madden 10.

Superbowl victories: 5
NFL MVP awards: 3
Offensive POY: 4
Probowls: 5
QB of the year: 4
Yds passed per year: between 4,200-4,800
Tds passed per year: between 40-48
Skill level: Pro

I came into the league as a rookie with a 60 rating and now after five full seasons I have a 71 rating, I usually go up 2-3 rating points a year and for some reason I lose a rating point during the off season which sucks. I figure by the time my superstar player starts declining because of age he will be at an 85. Is there any other ways to get my player to progress better? To give an example, a rookie QB was drafted on my superstar team at a 64 and after 2 seasons this guy is at a 76 and he has never taken a snap, whats up with that?!?!
